Joining some 20,000 screaming fans in colourful rain ponchos was his Japanese-Taiwanese wife Michiko Nishimura aka Lee Jing Lei, whom he wed last November.
In July, the pair celebrated the birth of their first child, a daughter named Wang Jiali.

Hence, the Rochester, United States-born multi-talented musician, who turned 38 in May, was in exceptionally high spirits as he demonstrated his musical prowess on the piano, guitar and violin.Crooning to the love of his life, Wang also serenaded his supporters with jazzed up versions of his romantic hits like Love Love Love, Forever Love, Wei Yi (The One And Only), Ai De Jiu Shi Ni (The One I Love Is You) and Yi Shou Jian Dan De Ge (A Simple Song).

Preferring to focus on his music, the dashing entertainer dispensed with the fancy outfits and slick dance moves typical of most Asian concerts, including his own previous shows.Instead, he performed in a white shirt and black pants, without so much as a costume change, even when his sweat-soaked shirt became even wetter in the rain. This is perhaps nothing new for Wang, a devoted long-time ambassador for World Vision Taiwan, who is well-known for being a frugal entertainer; it is reported that he has not bought any new clothes for the past 20 years, preferring to channel some 90% of his income to charitable causes.

Decked in bright yellow tees, Homaniacs (Lee Hom official fan club colours are yellow and black) declared their support as they waved flashing glowsticks and sang along to crowd favourites like Ni Bu Zhi Dao De Shi (All The Things You Never Knew), the theme song from Wang’s top-grossing 2010 directorial debutLove In Disguise (Lian Ai Tong Gao), in which he starred alongside mainland Chinese star Crystal Liu. In the movie, he plays a role mirroring his own love life as a world-famous Mandopop star who has no choice but to disguise himself in his pursuit of true love.Wang, then, got the crowd to cheer even louder when he paid tribute to his favourite Malaysian singer, P. Ramlee, with a heartfelt rendition of the latter’s evergreen hit Getaran Jiwa.Wang, who will next be seen in the American action thriller Blackhat, aptly wrapped the show with Kiss Goodbye. Then, he returned for an encore, ending the concert on a high note with Yi Ran Ai Ni (Still In Love With You).
Needless to say, that pleased his fans who loved every minute of the concert despite the downpour.
